Speio an underground flower

To paint plum's blossoms
Along with their perfume !"

Accurately restoring high sound level with precision, while remaining discreet, Speio introduces a subtle and communicative musicality into your environment.
The egg-shaped form resulting from the research theme of the project - Chrysalis - offers a double-benefit, a soft and harmonious design and optimal mechanical-acoustic comportment.

Description of the casing
The egg-shaped form of Speio allows limiting the effects of diffraction on the outside and the echoes on the inside. The body is manufactured by moulding synthetic stone or by machining a mass of natural stone (granite). The heavy weight and the great rigidity of the system results in a particularly stable mechanical base for the speakers, resulting in increased dynamics and the absence of distortion.
Small decorative touches, like these bas-reliefs, are a part of Orythie's touch. |
Here is a complete set of the model in 5.1, with satellite and a central speaker. The speakers should be placed following different rules, so each one is flexible. |
Technical characteristics
Speio is a 3-way speaker system, with three speakers, two of which are coaxial. The bass speaker works using the load principle bass-reflex in order to obtain an extended bandwidth with a higher power. Speio is, in a way, the cousin of Lyssianassa. The sound hole has an elliptical profile in order to maximize its efficiency and minimize air-flow noises.
